In 2015, Fernando Herrejon took a leap of faith with the support of his wife to start his own business. After eight years as a salesman at Jimenez Distributors, where he learned how to provide high quality service and excellent communication, he was ready for a new challenge. His knowledge and experience opened doors in the food industry, leading him to focus on raw meat products to distinguish from his previous role. His main goal was to create a business that allowed him to spend quality time with his family.
By 2016, El Gran was officially registered and that year was spent building strong relationships and fostering connections with customers. Fernando truly values all of God’s blessings and appreciates the loyal customers who have been with El Gran from day one.
By 2018, El Gran expanded into a larger distribution center, equipped with an advanced walk-in cooler and freezer system, ensuring the highest standards of product freshness and safety. Specializing in wholesale meat distribution for the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County, our fleet of refrigerated trucks operate six days a week, covering extensive distribution routes to serve our community.
